MGM Grand Detroit was officially opened on October 3, 2007, although it started operating in 1999. It is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International. The casino operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The resort includes the 400-room hotel, spa, an indoor pool, a health club, virtual golf/Topgolf Swing Suite, sic restaurants, a couple of bars, and 30,000 square feet of the Event Center.
