WSOP Michigan Promo Code was one of the first regulated online poker sites to launch in the US. The 888-powered poker site is already available in Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware. Soon, Michigan residents will be able to enjoy the same great cash games and tournaments. is owned by Caesars Interactive Entertainment and operates on the US 888 poker network. But Caesars only operates a land-based casino over the border in Windsor, Ontario. There is currently no land-based operator for on the US side.

Since Michigan legalized online poker in late 2019, has been looking for an in-road into this potentially lucrative new market. But what could Michiganders expect to find if MI goes live?

Registration Process

Opening a new account at Michigan will be easy. You must first download a desktop client, but the software is available on both Windows PCs and Macs.

There is a basic 3-step registration process to get started once you’ve downloaded the client. You don’t have to be in Michigan to register, but you must be in order to log on and play real money poker.

Step 1: Enter name, date of birth, email address, and gender. You’ll also have to create a username and password for your account.

Step 2: Enter a valid cellphone number and set a security question and answer.

Step 3: Provide your home address in the US, plus your entire Social Security Number (SSN). You can also enter a promo code at this stage.

You may also have to provide a form of photo ID to verify your age. This can take the form of a scan of your US passport or driver’s license. MI will also use geolocation tools to pinpoint your whereabouts. If you aren’t within Michigan borders you won’t be able to play.

Cash Games at MI

Cash games have always been a highlight of the poker site. You will be able to access 888’s award-winning software when you play cash games online.

No Limit, Fixed Limit, and Pot Limit Hold’em games run around the clock, as well as 7 Card Stud and Omaha.

One downside to the iPad app is that you can only play one table at a time. Multi-tabling is not allowed at present. Plus, PLO cash games and tournaments aren’t compatible with iPad tablets.

Deposits & Withdrawals at MI Michigan will make deposits and withdrawals straightforward. You will have access to the same banking methods as players in states like New Jersey.
